It's not sewing, but it is important! We will learn about Self Defense for Women. Dr. Sean Ross from the Personal Defense Club will be the presenter. He has over 20 years experience in classical martial arts and modern combatives. Dr. Ross has made it a personal life mission to help everyone stay safe and strong. Dr. Ross asks: What are your personal boundaries and what is your plan to defend them? You may be faced with a stranger who gets too close, the co-worker who gets too friendly or the person hanging out in the parking lot near your vehicle. Knowing what your boundaries are and having a plan of action is what will get you safely through these experiences. Join us in July and find out what to do!
Chapter meetings are held on the Second Thursday of every month at Asbury Methodist Church, 6:30pm. (10000 Candelaria Rd NE)
